Breaking Bad

Breaking Bad is a TV series produced by Vince Gilligan. It is a drama series although great part of each episode is full of action and suspense.

This serie is starring by a middle-aged chemistry teacher who lives in Albuquerque, a city of New Mexico state in United States. His name is Walter White and he was diagnosed of an incurable lung cancer. After that, he wants to earn money for his family through an illegal way, producing methamphetamine, and for do that he has the help of his former student Jesse Pinkman. Since this part of the serie, begin all the occurrences and incidents when Walter White's brother-in-law Hank Schrader and all the team of DEA(Drug Enforcement Administration) want to stop him of producing metamphetamine.

Personally, I love how Bryan Cranston(Walter White) develope his role in the film, he seems a feeble, quiet man who just want to spend his time with his family and they put him a second face, where he is strong, bad and carefree. The theme hadn't been seen before in any TV serie so that gives another point. The plot is fantastic and at the end of each episode you already want to start the next episode, they leave you wondering about what will happen in the next one. So, you end watching all the episodes and seasons...

I recomend to watch it if you like the good TV series and you enjoy watching them. I can say it is the first TV serie that I could finish completely.

  1. Somebody told me that this year the admission mark to study chemistry at Catalan universities has gone up a full point. It's believed that this is, at least in part, due to the popularity of "Breaking Bad".

Apparently, something similar happened with the studies of criminology when CSI Miami first became popular.

Do you think this is possible? Does people choose a career path based on a TV show?
